Customer’s problem

Expro outsourced all its training needs in Aberdeen or used meeting rooms when available, which wasn’t always a suitable option. The company wanted to create an internal structure to allow employees to receive in-house training.

Expro’s solution

Expro has created a facility that is tailor-made for training in Aberdeen which is much more flexible in its use and able to house and provide everything that the training department and employees need.

Results

One wing of Lion House’s ground floor was cleared and made in to a state-of-the art training facility called the Centre of Excellence.  The facility was completed on time and feedback from people using it is that it is a ‘first-class facility’ and ‘much better than anything a hotel in Aberdeen could provide’.  The new facility allows Expro to provide a blended mix of training, coaching, on-the-job experience and online resources necessary for everyone to learn how to do their job well and develop their skills ready for their next job.
