The ELSA series of landing string assemblies are in-riser and open-water systems designed to allow well operations to be conducted safely, when testing, completing or intervening in subsea wells. They provide rapid shut-in and emergency disconnect facilities required for rig safe operations.

The landing string systems are based on Expro’s innovative ball-valve technology which provides industry leading levels of cutting and sealing ability.

ELSA-EA
The basis of all Expro landing string assemblies originates with the systems developed for the exploration and appraisal (EA) applications more than 25 years ago.

Completions and Intervention

ELSA-DH, Direct Hydraulic
These landing string assemblies are designed for direct-hydraulic (DH) completion and intervention applications only.

ELSA-HD, High Debris, Deep Water
Assemblies specifically designed to tolerate high debris (HD) contents during frac proppant flowback operations.  The extreme reliability of these systems and the Express control system compatibility makes this landing string assembly also the choice for batch completions in deep water environments.

ELSA-HP, High Pressure
Using the ELSA-HD design philosophy, our high pressure (HP) landing strings are not only capable to withstand the harsh pressure environment, but are Express control system compatible and have excellent coiled tubing cutting capability.

ELSA-DB, Dual Bore
As single provider of Dual Bore (DB) Safety systems, the ELSA-DB product line covers a variety of tools enabling well flowback, completion and intervention operations to be safely conducted in dual bore completion applications.

ELSA-OW, Open Water
Although the majority of Expro’s subsea intervention market is within the marine riser, systems have been developed for deployment of production trees and flowback operations in open water (OW).
